PREVENTION IS THE KEY.

The best way to prevent illness is prevention.
The CDC recommends the following actions.
TAKE THESE STEPS
Avoid Contact
• Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.

• Stay home when you are sick.• Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
Stay Clean
• Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.

• Follow CDC’s recommendations for using a facemask.

• Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.

• If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.

Get Soap
Apply enough soap to cover all hand surfaces

Scrub
Scrub for at least 20 SECONDS sing the “Happy Birthday”song twice

RInse
Rinse hans with water for10 SECONDS

DRY
Dry thoroughly with a single use towel
Symptoms to look out for
Fever
Cough
Shortness of breath
Seek medical advice if you develop symptoms, and have been in close contact with a person known to have COVID-19 or if you live in or have recently been in an area with the ongoing spread of COVID 19.
